Notes: Celebrate without waste
Happy holidays everyone! I know this time of year can be a rough time for some people. My sincerest wish is that everyone can stay healthy and have a place to gather with loved ones. Oh, and I also hope you take some time to enjoy home cooked local foods!
When you are done celebrating, promise me you will do one thing… clean out your refrigerator! At the end of the week, join me in a fridge dump. Really dig deep and find all those leftovers and forgotten produce that needs to be eaten up before turning into a science experiment. If we all band together, we will save so much food from the landfill which will help our planet and your pocketbook.
Looking for holiday leftover ideas? Well, several of the recipes above utilize leftover ham and potatoes. Also check out my Thanksgiving post with links to tons of recipes to use up all that food.
