Notes: Celebrating with food

For my family, any time there is a celebration, food is front and center. This week is no exception. It’s the Super Bowl and Valentine’s Day! I get two nights off from cooking and my husband will show off his skills. He has been making the Super Bowl chili recipe above for years and to be honest, it is one of the best chili recipes I have tasted. Since this also happens to be the week of Valentine’s Day we will be celebrating with heart-shaped pizza, which is another specialty of my better half!  I love the traditions that we have and that certain holidays are marked with certain foods. It’s so comforting!
